Do you suffer from dry, chapped, or cracked lips? I'll be the first to admit that I myself suffer from dry lips :'( , which for a makeup junkie like me can be very annoying at times. Luckily about two weeks ago i did some research and found out how to make my very own lip scrub! Let me tell you this worked wonders on my flaky lips. As soon as I rinsed off the scrub I immediately noticed a drastic difference in my lips. They looked and felt a lot smoother. My lip products glided on so easy and my lip gloss lasted longer on my lips too. I was very pleased with the results! and I will be definitely be making this a permanent part of my beauty regimen.
Many of you may wonder what the heck is a lip scrub?! Just like any other body scrub, a lip scrub is used to exfoliate your lips to remove the dry, dead layer of skin and reveal soft, moisturized lips. So if you do have dry lips, or even if you are one of the lucky beauties that don't have dry lips; this is still a great recipe to keep your lips in tip top shape. This quick, easy, and affordable diy (do-it-yourself) recipe is sure to give you the perfect pout all year round!
Ingredients:
So the best part about this recipe is that all the ingredients used are found right in your kitchen! Not to mention its edible too! So get 1 tablespoon of honey, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and a few drops of oil olive. As well as a small container/bowl and spoon. Mix all of the ingredients together in the bowl until it reaches a thick consistency.
That was pretty easy right? Now you'll more than likely have a bit left over but that's okay you can save it for next time.
Starting off with clean lips, apply a small amount to your lips. Rub the mixture gently all around the lip surface, don't forget the corners. Then rinse off and apply either a moisturizing lotion or moisturizing lip balm.
All done! Now you have those soft, moisturized lips you've always dreamed of! And your lip gloss is sure to be poppin! haha
*lip scrub is a non-allergenic formula so those with sensitive skin can enjoy this recipe too!*

Love this. I usually just use olive oil and sugar. It works wonders!
